Our Story
Pyt Beauty® Lipstick was born out of a desire to provide women everywhere with lipsticks they can truly love. As avid lipstick lovers ourselves, we were tired of lackluster formulas that dried out our lips, faded quickly, and just didn’t live up to our expectations. We wanted lipsticks that made us feel confident, beautiful, and happy whenever we slipped them on.
So we decided to create our own.

Let’s talk about what makes our formula so unique.
We start with powerful antioxidants including vitamin E, green tea extract, and aloe vera leaf extract. These nourishing ingredients hydrate lips, protect from environmental damage, and boost smoothness.
Next, we blend emollient oils like avocado, olive fruit, sunflower seed, and jojoba. This creates an ultra-hydrating, cushiony base infused with essential fatty acids. Say goodbye to dry, chapped lips!

Skin Undertone: Determine whether your skin leans cool, warm, or neutral. Veins that appear blue signal cool undertones. Green veins mean warm undertones. Can’t tell? Then you likely have a neutral undertone.
Skin Tone: Fair, light, medium, tan, or deep. This gives us an idea of contrast.
Hair Color: Blonde, red, brunette, black, or grey. Hair color can impact which shades look most harmonious.
Eye Color: Green, hazel, blue, brown, grey, or violet eyes. Certain shades can really make eye colors pop!
Lips: Thin, average, or full. Fuller lips can handle bolder colors while thinner lips look best with lighter, brighter shades.
With those factors in mind, we’ll recommend flattering lipstick hues! If you already have a favorite lip color in mind, share that too and we can suggest similar options.

While we designed our lipsticks to be effortless to apply, use these tips to take your pout to the next level:
- Exfoliate: Buff away flaky skin first with a lip scrub. This creates the smoothest canvas.
- Moisturize: Apply lip balm and let it soak in to soften before lipstick application.
- Line: Define lips first with liner to prevent feathering and fading.
- Apply: For full coverage, swipe directly from the bullet. For sheer color, dab on with fingertips. Apply to bare lips or over liner.
- Blot: Press lips between tissue to remove excess product and set color. This helps it wear longer.
- ** Maintain:** Reapply lipstick throughout the day as needed. Keep liner fresh too. Bring your lipstick along for touch ups!
